Goals and Objectives

Just think how much easier your everyday life would be if you could express your thoughts clearly and convince people of what you have to say. Wouldn't it be great if you could

  • Communicate better with associates or fellow employees
  • Cultivate your speaking skills
  • Give better presentations and debates
  • Top up management skills
  • Offer constructive criticism
  • Accept criticism more objectively

Why should you come to Toastmasters?

Being able to express one's thoughts clearly is one of the most valuable things we can ever learn. Toastmasters training provides the tools that enables participants to become effective communicators and leaders - all at a very low cost.

RheinbrückeWhy is Toastmasters so successful?

Toastmasters is the world's leading organization dedicated to helping its members learn to speak effectively, both in professional and personal situations, by using a set of manuals. Toastmasters is not a school with teachers lecturing but rather a club where interesting people like you help each other and learn together in a friendly and supportive environment. Ask members why they come to Toastmasters: "because it works and it's fun".

If you have a fluent command of English, an interest in widening your general knowledge and are prepared to make an effort to practice, then Toastmasters is for you!  We look forward to welcoming new members.

What's the background of Toastmasters?

Toastmasters is a non-profit organization which trains people to become effective communicators and leaders.

It is a club where interesting people like you help each other and learn together in a friendly and supportive environment.

Toastmasters International began in 1924 and has more than 200'000 members in 50 countries around the world. In total more than 2 million men and women have benefited from the training Toastmasters has to offer.

In Switzerland there are several other clubs. See "more clubs".
