Getting there |
We recommend to take public transport to the centre of Basel
because parking in the centre is difficult and there are no
convenient parking lots. Take a tram, walk or take a bus to the
Barfusserplatz. It is a very well-known location and you can
always ask directions if you get lost. The Barfusserplatz slopes
slightly downhill. In the lowest corner, between the Bata shoes
shop and the Stadthof pizzeria and restaurant, there are some
stairs. Take the stairs, which turn to the right, then take the
left fork>leading up. At the top of the stairs, turn left and
you should see the 'Im Lohnhof' arch. Walk through the arch.
Toastmasters of Basel meets in Centrepoint, which shares an
entrance with the Basel Music Museum. The door to the meeting
room is the first on the left as you enter the building.
