A member can be declared an inactive member by the committee without notice
- after not attending 4 meetings in a row or
- because of having attended less than 4 meetings per Toastmasters year
Inactive members
- will be (or
continue to be) registered with TMI as Toastmasters
- will receive the Toastmasters magazine
- have no voting rights
- cannot hold an office
- shall not be counted toward a quorum of the club membership
- cannot participate in International speech contests, but at other
contests
- pay the same yearly fee as active members
A member can be declared an active member by the committee on request.
